A 2-colour hand-printed linocut/screen-print entitled 'Wirksworth'.
I have been meaning to create a print of Wirksworth for some time. It is a beautiful town in the Peak District, UK. I have travelled there regularly to take part in the fantastic arts festival there, and every time I go, I wander around the place taking in the beautiful views. I love the puzzle of rooftops, church spires, windows, chimneys and foliage.
Orange and and dark grey System 3 inks on off-white 220gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 80, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
The print image measures H15xW10cm.
The paper measures H29.7xW21cm
All prints will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.
