Full description
This is a hand-pulled screen print entitled 'Magic Donkey No.12' printed in midnight blue.
This is the twelfth print in the 'magic donkey' series, a continuation of my donkey dreamworld theme. I've always had a fascination with circles, using them in my prints regularly, and on this occasion it is the ultimate minimalist tribute! The donkey stands before a mighty circle. Is it a hole, a solid dot, a passage to another place? They will find out soon enough..
Midnight blue System 3 ink on antique white Seawhite 300gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 20, signed, titled and numbered. The ink colour is a very dark blue. It looks almost black in certain lights.
The print image measures H34xW34cm.
The paper measures H42xW59.4cm.
Printed by myself in my studio in Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
