All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.
Thank you very much for your support.
I live on Mersea Island. I'm surrounded by the sea and estuaries, I can't help but be inspired the coast. I often see seaweed on the pebbles beaches.

A unique one of a kind piece of jewellery. I start by gathering scraps of sterling silver and melting them as they form a molten ball I flatten the molten silver to form a flattened pebble like shape. A pebble beach pattern has been stamped onto the surface of the pebble form. A seaweed shape has been cut out of recycled sterling silver sheet and soldered onto the silver pebble form. A recycled sterling silver loop soldered onto the top to attach to recycled sterling silver belcher chain.
Due to the nature of how this piece has been handmade, it is a complete one off.
Chain length: 47.3cm
The pendant measures 2.05cm across and 3.1cm from the top of the loop to the bottom of the pebble pendant.
Hallmarked for its weight in solid sterling silver by Birmingham Assay Office.
As already made, it is ready to ship, please allow 1 - 3 days before being dispatched.
