I live in an area full of birds - jackdaws in particular are ever present. They're incredibly playful, swooping and chasing each other across roofs and between houses. Jackdaws as a totem animal represent protection and gratitude, and I thought it would be fun to make a companionable jackdaw to wear.

Full description
This sweet little brooch is a playful accessory to your everyday wardrobe.
Soft felt and red/pink polka dot cotton are hand stitched together to make this gentle jackdaw to adorn your outfit. A foundling button from my button jar is added, and the brooch back on the reverse has been thoroughly stitched to keep it nice and secure. The brooch is softly stuffed with hypoallergenic stuffing, giving it a nicely rounded shape.
Jackdaws are apparently associated with protection and gratitude. Pin it to your jacket, your bag or even your hat to conjure a little woodland magic into your day.
