Full description
A handmade brooch is a wonderful piece of jewellery to receive and mark a special occasion. This silver brooch has been handmade from recycled sterling silver and a round Scottish Lewisian Gneiss gemstone.
It would make a thoughtful gift for someone that loves Scotland, a wedding anniversary, a milestone birthday or as a retirement gift.
On the surface of the silver I have created a wooden effect and darkened it with a patina. The Lewisian Gneiss gemstone is also set in recycled sterling silver. The diameter of the gemstone is 10 mm and the approximate diameter of the brooch is 25 mm.
