Hello! I am a freelance artist & illustrator, whose work is created using a mixture of chalk pastel, pencil and coloured pencil. Full description
"Evening Glow in Chateau-d'Oex" - my Swiss Mountain landscape drawing - was inspired by a recent summertime visit to this beautiful area in Switzerland.
Situated near Gstaad, Chateau-d'Oex is famous for its winter hot air balloon festival.
I created this piece using chalk pastel and pencil on clay coloured paper. My intention was to capture the majesty of these Swiss mountains, and the peace I felt whilst contemplating them (both in person and in the act of drawing them).
This piece is 28cm by 28cm and it can be signed by on me, in pencil, on the front or back (or both!) - whichever you prefer!
It will be sent tracked and signed for, wherever in the world it is possible! Shipping within the UK is FREE!
