What is a journal?
It’s your story, your history, your present moment.
It’s a gateway into who you really are and how you really feel.
It’s a place to play and a place to get down to some serious work.
Keeping a journal, whether you do it every day, once a week, or only in moments of strong emotions, (good or bad), can be so many of these things, and so much more. Keeping a journal is meditation, it’s a place where you can open up a dialogue with your inner self, or your inner child, or your inner crazy-person-who-just-needs-to-rant!

Heirloom Journals for Word Weavers
Are you a storyteller?
Are you a weaver of words and images?
If you are, then my heirloom-worthy, cloth-bound journals are perfect for you.
Why “heirloom-worthy”? Because these journals have been lovingly created by hand; they are of special value, they are to be treasured by you and handed down to the next generation.
I hand-dyed the cloth which binds the journals, and screen printed on the designs.
I then bound the journals using Coptic stitching, an ancient form of bookbinding, which is both beautiful and practical … you can open and close these books a hundred times, a thousand times, and they will not loosen or lose their shape. Your stories are safe here.
Coptic bookbinding also means that the journals will lie completely flat when you open them … these are the perfect books for journaling, there’s no spine to get in your way!
The recycled cartridge paper for the pages is not only sustainably sourced, it is of a high quality, and is an absolute pleasure to write on. The paper is thick enough that there is no bleed through, even from fountain pen ink.
The inside covers are made using handmade Nepalese Lokta paper, in a gorgeous turquoise.
The book is stitched together with Williamsburg Blue coloured Irish Linen waxed thread, which doesn’t stretch, meaning the book stays firmly bound.
I sincerely hope that you will love using my journals as much as I loved creating them.
