Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

Full description
This is an original study of woodlands at the Hen Reed Beds nature reserve, Suffolk. I based the study on photographs I took while on holiday in the area during the month of June.
The artwork is created using a dip pen with Daler-Rowney FW acrylic ink along with Derivan Liquid Pencil (Sepia colour) applied with brushes. It is created on a sample of watercolour paper from St Cuthbert's Mill (300gsm).
The study measures 5.3 inches x 6.5 inches approx. Their is a small white border around the artwork where it was taped to the drawing board. The paper measures approx. 5.7 inches x 7.1 inches.
This artwork comes unmounted and unframed.
I will post this little painting out to you using Royal Mail's 1st Class Signed For delivery service in the UK and International Signed For/Tracked delivery service if posting overseas.
