Full description
This adorable little chick would love to come and share your home. It would look sweet as an Easter centrepiece for your table, or keeping you company on your desk. It would also be ideal as an unusual Easter Gift, instead of (or as well as!) chocolate. Its happy little face will bring a smile to all who see it.
It has been made by sculpting wool, with a hint of Angelina sparkle over a wire armature, using a felting needle. Its feet are made from wire, twisted into shape and then tightly wrapped in florist's tape, coloured and sealed with Mod Podge.
This figurine measures approximately 12 cm (5 inches) from beak to tail
The wool used in all of my soft sculptures has been ethically sourced, generally from local farmers and shepherds. I like to support smallholders and small businesses wherever I can.
PLEASE NOTE: as with all of my sculptures, this figurine is intended as a decoration only and is not a toy. Due to small parts, and the wire frame, it should be kept out of reach of children and animals. It is fairly fragile but if it is handled with care, it should last a long time.
