Full description
A lovely little baby cardigan in a soft teal colour with flecks of white in a moss stitch and stocking stitch pattern. This jacket is soft and cosy and would make a thoughtful gift for a new baby. It is made with a natural cotton and acrylic blend, which is light and cool to wear in warmer weather, and yet still warm when it gets colder.
It is made with King Cole Cotton Top yarn, which is a blend of 22% cotton and 78% acrylic. It is therefore suitable for vegans.
It has been carefully hand knitted and sewn together with sturdy seams to last a long time.
I have taken a few photos to show the colour and stitches, but as you are aware, monitors vary. I have also taken close-ups of the stitch detail so that you can see the pattern.
The cardigan is intended for a child aged 0-3 months but it does have some give and therefore may fit a little outside that range. The moss stitch pattern looks the same on the reverse side, so sleeves still look nice if the cuffs are turned back.
Wash on a gentle cycle, or by hand at 40 degrees and air dry or dry flat for best results and longer lasting wear. Do not tumble dry. It may be necessary to gently stretch the garment back into shape after washing.
