A happy cactus with a face that comes in a pretty green pot! There are so many things you can do with this little chap. You could place it among your house plants and see if anyone notices, use it as a table centrepiece, or give it to a friend as an unusual gift. I imagine that we've all got at least one friend who just cannot seem to keep their house plants alive. It also makes a very fetching pin cushion for either yourself or your friend who sews.
The cactus can be removed from the pot if required.
It has been made by sculpting wool with a felting needle, with toy-maker's eyes set in. I have added a pinch of lavender flowers to the woolly "soil" to smell nice and to deter moths.
This figurine measures approximately 13 cm (5.5 inches) in height, including the pot.
The wool used in all of my soft sculptures has been ethically sourced, where possible from local farmers and shepherds. I like to support smallholders and small businesses wherever I can.
PLEASE NOTE: as with all of my sculptures, this figurine is intended as a decoration only and is not a toy. It should be kept out of reach of children and animals. It is fairly fragile but if it is handled with care, it should last a long time.
