My love of hares and not wanting to throw anything out - this piece was inspired by the punched cardboard rounds that are left in my paint orders; I knew they would come in for something.

Full description
Hand crafted paper mache hare sculpture in a handmade moon box. The moon’s face has been styled with buttons and string before being covered in layers of cotton wool and gluey paper; the hare and moon inside the box are sculpted with cardboard, florist wire, tin foil, masking tape, cotton wool, and layers of paper and glue. All elements of this piece are finished with chalk paint and wax. The fastener is a vintage silver button and soft knotted cord.
