I have an aversion to throwing anything away ... even a sardine tin, which was cleaned, primed, painted, and sealed with wax. The paper used in sculpting this little fox and bluebird is mostly discarded newspaper, and I also use tin foil and cotton wool for refining these little critters.

My assemblage pieces are hand made with patience and love, and often take many weeks to complete (allowing for drying times of glue and paint, and a reluctance to stop adding more). They are not suitable for small children, as there usually are small components and sharp bits.
