Full description

I love the Scottish mountains and have spent many nights cosied up in a bothy after a day on the hills... even Christmas....

The obvious focus for this panel is the little house, it's got a vivid red roof and whitewashed walls making it stand out in it's surrounding mountains. The landscape is made up with a variety of greens andvheathery purples, both textured and smooth. The water in the foreground is a streaky blue/green.

The sky in this panel is moody, it's a grey wispy piece.

Reminiscent of approaching squalls about to drop their rain. It really is a lovely atmospheric sky.

Please see my other listings for related studies in this series.

This landscape panel is made with cut glass and copperfoil but I have also framed it with a lead came edge. The addition of the lead surround makes it a very sturdy, strong piece and gives the copperfoil panel a pleasing substantial weight.

Hooks have been soldered on the top for ease of hanging in your window.

Size approx 19cm x 28cm
