This is my second Wild Carrot design and my new favourite. I decided to tint the grout a mid blue to help the background crazing to back away. I think it’s really worked. The blue in between the flower stalks gives it a lovely depth and I think I’m hooked on the bespoke grout.

Full description
This original floral art is created in mosaic and features an arrangement of Wild Carrot flowers on a china blue background. This piece has a hand tinted grout allowing the flowers to take centre stage.
I use beautiful Winckelmans tiles which are matt ceramic and come in soft muted tones. I hand cut each piece of tessera to create intricate images inspired by nature. The mosaic is mounted on a wooden canvas and the sides are part tiled to frame the plaque and give depth and is complete with hanging wire.
Measures 16cm x 16cm x 2.5cm
Due to the wooden frame, this art is suitable for display indoors only.
Each wall plaque is one of a kind but I am able to make more in a similar colour palette on request. I am also open to commission, just contact me for a chat.
