My Summer Season Collection is full of summer botanicals, most grown in the beautiful Hampshire sunshine and pressed by me, before sunbathing with cyanotype to produce blue-and-white photograms. Perfect as gifts for plant lovers, house movers, family and friends.

I love the Wet Cyanotype technique, you never know what the piece is going to look like until you fix it in water and let it dry, and then it reveals itself to you in all its perfectly imperfect glory. Occasionally some do end up being chopped up for craft paper bundles!

Full description
This Photogram of an Allium seed head carries all the hallmarks of the Wet Cyanotype technique, moody blues, sprinkles of salt, pinches of Turmeric, a mist of water and long exposure time in the Hampshire sunshine. Add to that a pop of 24ct Gold leaf and you have an explosion of lovliness.

Created on 300gsm acid free watercolour paper, hinge mounted to a backboard and White mount both acid free and in a fully recyclable protective bag.
Named ‘Olympia’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
Mounted Size 11” x 14” ready for you to place into a standard 11” x 14” frame of your choice.
Aperture size is 8” x 10”
The photogram will be posted out in an all board envelope which is reusable and recyclable. I purchase packaging made from recycled products whenever I can.
