As they flower so early, snowdrops do not rely on pollinators to reproduce. Instead, they spread by bulb division. However, they may still be visited by bees and other insects on a particularly warm day. Snowdrops are often known to symbolise new beginnings, hope, and overcoming challenges, making this photogram an ideal gift for someone who might appreciate the gesture at a difficult or thoughtful time.

Full description
In this traditional cyanotype, snowdrops are so sweet and dainty-looking. They are one of the first flowers to appear in the year, bringing hope and brightness.
During the Cyanotype process, some sunlight shone through the delicate petals, showing off their markings, and contrasting beautifully against the Prussian blue background. This photogram would make a lovely gift for someone special, to say 'thank you' or as a January Birthday gift.
She has a twin sister called Hope, who looks equally lovely in her silver-coloured frame; see separate listing.
Created on 300gsm Hahnemühle Platinum Rag 100% cotton acid-free watercolour paper.
Named ‘Purity’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
The simple oak 'effect' frame is approximately 6” x 8” and has a GLASS front. It has a slim white mount and a loose backboard.
The Aperture size is approximately 4” x 6”
The frame stands in portrait but could also be wall mounted.
The framed photogram will be posted in a lined, reusable postal box.
