Full description
A gorgeous vintage fabric book, ready for you to add your own personal touches and covet as a keepsake.
The front cover is an antique log cabin, patchwork block, backed with a lightweight ivory cotton fabric. Lightly hand quilted with tiny running stitches. The raw edges have been edged in blanket stitch.
The back cover is a vintage floral print fabric, folded double, with top and bottom raw edges.
Inside there are 5 pages of vintage French linen, for you to add either embroideries or applique work to, one of which is edged with wide lace. This page is at the back and when the book is closed an hint of the lace can be seen from the front. There is also one half linen page, which has a decorative eyelet piece running from top to bottom.
Measures approx 17cm x 11cm when closed.
The whole book is bound with a piece vintage fabric taken from the same quilt.
Please note that all the fabrics are vintage or antique, and may show signs of wear, commensurate with their age. Please do not purchase if you like your vintage fabrics to be perfect.
