Full description
This stylish grab tote bag has been handmade using recycled, denim jeans and a deep burgundy chenille upholstery fabric. It has a burgundy polyester cotton lining and light khaki grab handles. A matching, removable tie decorates the front of the bag.
The bag is slouchy and light to wear but designed to be sturdy enough for everyday use. On the outside are two usable jeans pockets from the original jeans, inside there is a slip pocket which suitable for phone, pens etc and a deep zipped pocket for added security. For those of us who lose our keys in the bottom of our bag, there's a swivel lobster clasp secured to the inside of the bag with a grosgrain ribbon. The opening is secured with a bronze coloured magnetic closure.
Inside (and hidden) the base of the bag has been given additional shape and structure with the addition of a bag base made using recycled plastic between layers of pvc coated cotton offcuts.
Measurements (approx): depth at centre of bag 30cm, width at widest point 35cm. Base of bag 28cm x 7.5cm
Handles approx 65cm, drop 31cm
Will be wrapped in tissue and boxed for posting.
All of the waste from my bag making is collected for recycling
