Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. I love colour and I am particularly drawn to the delicate prints you can find in Liberty Tana Lawn and Cotton Poplin. However, sometimes I find myself attracted to less colourful prints and I buy them and never use them. So the midnight series was born, little creatures in blacks, blues and greys with dark prints that please me. The Vine Thief is just perfect for a tiny blue midnight mohair mouse. The blue of the vine leaves picking up the blue of Ardith's fur.

Full description
This is Aldith, a tiny midnight mohair mouse. She is a hand embroidered mouse with little leather ears and tail. She is dressed in a Liberty cotton poplin called Vine Thief, the midnight version, a black ground with tiny birds feasting on the grapes. She has coordinating underskirts in peacock blue shot cotton, black tulle mesh and white cotton lace bloomers. Her dress is finished with organza ribbon, tiny buttons and little leather shoes. She is a blue mohair mouse with blue ears and tail, grey whiskers and an embroidered pink nose. Her pearl bead eye is a deep blue.
She is softly stuffed with rosemary in her stuffing for a gentle scent and she has a tiny piece of turquoise at her heart. She has a brass ring to her back in case you want to place her on the wall.
She stands 7 inches tall
She is a folk doll for grown ups and sadly is not suitable for children to play with.
