Tucked away in hidden corners, foxgloves are a welcome splash of corner - Merlin and I often spot them on the edges of woodlands on our daily walks.

Full description
The perfect card for summer birthdays and messages, my cards feature a Foxglove flower spike and 3d butterfly, carefully hand painted onto a brown, recycled card - I have painted the foxglove in shades of pink, with dusky green leaves, the throats of the flowers are dotted with the tiniest darker patches. The butterfly is stylised, painted in black and red, with tiny white spots on the wings, and a copper coloured body. A scoreline between the butterfly's wings and body allows you to very gently press the wings away from the main card, to give a 3d effect for display. The card is blank inside so you can add your own message.
Each card measures approx 4"x4", and is made from 300gsm card stock, outlines are drawn in black glitter gel pen for an added touch of sparkle, and the paints are water based acrylic, each card comes with a matching envelope.
Your card will arrive with you in a board backed envelope, packaged in a cellophane bag to keep it safe on its travels.
As with all hand made and hand painted items, there may be some small differences to the photo - colours can vary due to monitor settings.
