Full description

A floral coffeespoon hand stamped with what looks like an eye test chart but if you have your glasses on you can see it says I NEED MORE COFFEE NOW!

This is the joy of handstamping - each letter is individually stamped (by whacking a metal thing with a hammer) so each letter can be individually placed and I don't even need to stick to the same alphabet, in fact this spoon uses five different ones of subtly increasing size.

The letters are coloured black with nontoxic waterbased acrylic pigment. Hand wash with care. The spoon is 12.5cm long (just about big enough to be used as a teaspoon in extremis when the coffee runs out), it's silver-plated (so might benefit from a wipe with a polishing cloth and a drop of silver polish every now and then to keep it shiny) and is likely of 'mid century' vintage (the pattern is 'Silver Rose' by Viners).

If this has opened your eyes (haha! see what I did there?) to the creative typographical possibilities of spoon stamping, and you'd like to see me create something truly unique on a spoon just for you, do get in touch. I love wacky commissions. Although I am also very happy if you just want 'Dave's Coffee Spoon' and I'm sure Dave will just love it...
