Full description

This blue star posy holder is perfect for holding a small arrangement of flowers - either dry, silk or fresh (with a piece of damp tissue around the stems)

It is a charming accessory for all ages and would look stunning on a jacket lapel for a wedding or just to stand out anywhere with an original stylish detail.

It has been created from polymer clay with a subtle sparkle and tiny embossed stars. The stars have been individually varnished to stand out from the matt background.

There is a standard brooch fitting on the back

Please note flowers are not included

modern interpretation of the Victorian tiny vase brooch which was used to hold fragrant small floral arrangements - the posies could have a special secret meaning depending on the flowers chosen.

They were called tussy mussies

There was also the less charming idea of masking street smells or protecting from disease!

This posy holder
