These glasses cases evolved from a desire to use up all those pieces of fabric which were too pretty to throw away.

Full description
This glasses case has been up cycled from a curtain sample of a burgundy background with cream stems and leaves and has been decorated with an hand embroidery of a long tailed tit perched on one of the stems.
As the majority of my textiles are repurposed or upcycled, I source them as and when I come across them on my travels, therefore I’m not always sure of the exact fibre content.
The case has a sloped cut away at the top so that you can access your glasses easily and it is lined in a cotton patterned textile. The case also has a layer of soft cotton and polyester interlining to give a slight padding.
Size: external: 8.5 cm wide by 18 cm high. Internal: 8 cm wide by 16 cm high
