Hi and welcome to Born Again Bears. This name began as the first bears I made were as keepsakes and memories, made by bringing precious items back to new beginnings as special bears to cherish.
I enjoy making all different types and sizes of bears and indeed mice and have enjoyed becoming part of the Folksy family as an outlet for this.
International postage is a new area for me and I will happily combine postage. Please contact me for a price for this and I will do what I can to keep the cost as low as possible.
I have the most beautiful Orchid which has been in our family for 40 years or so. I realised that I had the exact colours of fabric in my stash to make this little bear. Sad but true!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
Orchid is a very pretty little bear and I think she knows it.
She has been hand crafted from pieces of vintage pale pink cotton velvet with paw pads and ears in a burgundy viscose velvet. Orchid is thread jointed in her arms and legs and a cotter pin joint for her head. She has English glass eyes, a sculpted face and embroidered facial features.
I have embellished her with vintage jewellery and other bits of ribbons and braid and she has flowers embroidered here and there.
She is quite tiny at only 6" tall, would definitely keep your other bears on their toes!
Please note, Orchid is a collectable bear and not suitable for children under 14 years old, just us older kids.
I have included a photo of Orchid alongside bobbins and scissors just to give an idea of scale on a smaller bear. These are not part of the purchase.
