Murano or Venetian glass items are individually made by experts.
Each bead is crafted by hand on the Island of Murano, 3km north of Venice.
The bead used for this pendant has been repurposed from a vintage Murano glass necklace.

Full description
Light and delicate necklace of dusky mauve glass beads with a handmade pendant centrepiece.
The pendant features a 12mm square, pink and white Murano glass bead topped with a trio of quality Austrian crystals in the colours 'light rose' and 'fuchsia'.
The crystals are highlighted with tiny 2mm gold vermeil spacers, the Murano glass square with 2mm faceted Rose Quartz beads.
The pendant is set between six faceted Rose Quartz beads bracketed by trios of crystals that echo the pendant.
More 'light rose' crystals and gold vermeil spacers add sparkle and colour between rows of five faceted dusky mauve glass beads.
The necklace graduates to dark mauve glass rondelles, and fastens with an antique gold, Tibetan style toggle clasp that is nickel and lead free.
This pretty, sparkly necklace would make a lovely birthday present, anniversary gift, bridesmaid gift, or as a thank you for someone special.
Hand crafted (by me!) in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon, UK.
This dainty necklace measures approximately 17 inches (43cm), excluding the pendant, which is 1.35 inches (3.5cm) long.
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
