Full description
A gorgeous pair of vintage patchwork quilt embroidery pouches, designed to hold your embroidery skeins and embroidery hoop or embroidery project.
The smaller pocket will hold approx 12 skeins of stranded embroidery thread, side by side. The pocket comes provided with two skeins of stranded cotton.
The pocket and pouch is edged with blanket stitch. The pouches fasten with a vintage ivory button and a printed fabric strip. Just secure by wrapping the fabric strip around the button.
Sizes - small, when closed, approx 16cm x 15cm.
Large pouch when closed, approx 24cm x 22cm - will hold up to a 20cm, 8 inch diameter, embroidery hoop.
NB - the fabric used to make this item has the characteristics commensurate of its age, due to its vintage nature, which just adds charm to the pockets - please do not purchase if you like your vintage fabrics to be perfect.
