I bought a tiny standard, Salix Flamingo about 8 years ago and now it’s about 10 feet tall and a playground for baby birds. The leaves are beautiful, turning white and flamingo pink in summer. I have tried to recreate the variations of colour of this beautiful tree.

Full description
This mini, original floral art is created in mosaic and features an abstract design of willow branches. It is inspired by my Salix Flamingo, Willow Tree. It is so beautiful with variegated leaves, turning to white and pink at the tips. The background is a dark brown, grey to make the colours pop.
It can be hung on the wall or be freestanding on a shelf with your favourite things.
I use beautiful Winckelmans tiles which are matt ceramic and come in soft muted tones. I hand cut each piece of tessera to create intricate images inspired by nature. The mosaic is mounted on a wooden canvas and the sides are part tiled to frame the plaque and give depth and is complete with hanging wire.
Measures 11cm x 11cm x 2cm
Due to the wooden frame, this art is suitable for display indoors only.
Each wall plaque is one of a kind but I am able to make more in a similar design and colour palette on request. I am also open to commission, just contact me for a chat.
