There was inspiration behind the original digital composition. There's a wild plant that grows profusely along the clifftops near my home, which, when it's died back, is aesthetically pleasing to artist, because of it's lovely shape. That's the white silhouette shapes in the digital composition.

I was considering for some time how to take some of my digital artworks in a new direction, to do something new with them. Certain of the nature ones, I thought, would look great embroidered with beads and sequins, and such.
