My many walks along canal-paths and riversides yield unending opportunities for quick sketches, photos and committing to memory the sights and sounds of Nature. Autumn is an especially stimulating season; the challenge here was to re-create a view in very small-scale.

Full description
An original oil painting on Arches specialist oil-paper, measuring just 4.5 x 3.5 inches (approx 11 x 9 cm). Lightly varnished and supplied with an ivory/cream mountboard that will fit a 6 x 8 inch frame (approx 15 x 20cm) of your own choice.
A riverside bank strewn with autumn leaves reaching to the water's edge; above, the trees rise into a sparkling mix of gold and russet leaves. The painting is signed and dated on the reverse.
The work will be securely wrapped and protected prior to final packaging and dispatch.
Arches oil-paper is a high-grade specially-treated surface for artists to paint on with oils, allowing great flexibility in technique. It is usually framed under glass, just like any other artwork on paper.
NB the left and right sides of the mountboard are 1.75 inches wide; the top and bottom are each 1.25 inches in width.
