Item details

The original artwork was created in response to the delicate colour of the glass jar. With flowers added to it, pastel medium was used on sanded (toothed) paper to create the image of the still life, positioned in daylight on a window-ledge. This original work was later sold, I retained two prints of it, one of which is offered here.

Full description

A print from one of my original pastel paintings, of poppies and daisies in a blue glass jar.

There are only two prints of this artwork; I am retaining one of them. The original work has been sold.

The print has been created by a professional print company on high-quality Hahnemule German etching paper, using pigment inks. The image size measures 8.25 x 11 inches and has a slender white border around it, making an overall sheet size of 9 x 11.5 inches.

The image is soft-focus, primarily due to the nature of the original pastel medium.

It will be posted flat with protective paper and card.
