These pair of Highland Cows fabric button earrings, really make a Caledonian statement!
Created from a stunning 100% cotton fabric designed by UK-based Lewis and Irene, this fabric is inspired by the beautiful Scottish lochs and the surrounding countryside, featuring highland cows, castles and thistles.
For these statement dangle earrings, I’ve selected two highland cows – both are busy grazing - out of the fabric and mirrored, on a dark cream background surrounded by grass and thistles.
I've created two 23mm flat back buttons using this gorgeous fabric, then added a circle of FSC approved wood in the back recess of the button and sealed the reverse with artist’s clear varnish. I then added gold plated leaf shaped bails to the back of each earring and added gold plated stainless steel earring hooks with scroll detail (surgical steel earring hooks can be requested if preferred).
The approximate drop length of these stunning statement earrings is approximately 4cm.
These earrings will come to you safe and carefully packaged in a UK Made eco-friendly recycled kraft card jewellery box - perfect for gifting to a friend who loves highland cows or Scottish lover, or to keep as a gift!
