In Japan, a crane is poetically said to live 1000 years – hence, it represents a long life and peace. In addition, a pair of coupled cranes will stay together for the rest of their lives, so they also represent a joyous wedding and a happy marriage. The first origami paper crane was said to be made around 1590 A.D., therefore, people have been cherishing these beautiful paper creations for generations.

Each Thank You Card has a handwritten “Arigato” (“Thank You” in Japanese) sign in Hiragana - one of the Japanese writing systems. An elegant little handmade origami paper crane is also attached. This set of cards is really unique.
Perfect for someone special to whom you would like to show your thanks, including friends, families, teachers, colleagues and more. Ideal for occasions like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Friendship Day, End of School, Graduation, Retirement and Anniversaries etc.
I only use good-quality origami paper, and I fold each crane with great attention to detail.
