Full description
This young girl is dressed for the outdoors with her beanie hat, cowl and matching leg warmers. She must have just come in from playing with her friends but her best friend is Fred the bunny who she takes everywhere and hugs all the time. Her name is Alina which means bright, beautiful and she is, with her golden locks and love for rabbits.
As well as her hat, cowl and legwarmers she is dressed in a fancy skirt and hooded jacket, which are worked and attached to the body and can’t be removed, her trainers can be removed if necessary and have the Nike symbol on them.
I crocheted her in Schachenmayr Catania cotton from an Amigurumi pattern by CAROcreated, available on Ravelry. She comes with a wooden doll stand as shown and therefore measures 15 1/2” high, ready to be put on display as an example of a truly hand-crafted doll which has taken many hours to complete.
