Full description
A cloud of pink blossom and some very tiny sheep feature on this pretty spring-time felt bookmark.
Scraps of green, pink and white felt have been appliqued to a background of sky blue felt to produce a 'patchwork' of fields. A profusion of blossom has been stitched using a fancy pink yarn and french knots in pink and silky vintage threads. Tiny daisies, sheep and distant hedgerows using a variety of threads - some of them vintage.
The bookmark has been completed by the addition of green satin ribbon tails. The back of the bookmark has been neatened by a additional panel of felt. The edge of the bookmark has been finished by over stitching in cotton threads, using colours corresponding to each area of the design.

Length of embroidered panel - 14.5 cm approx.
Total length - 21 cm approx.
