Such an unusual colour to find on the beach, but also rather tricky to use due to its thickness. Fortunately my husband is great at drilling glass, so I was able to fashion a mount for the pendant from silver wire and beads, in spite of the thickness, thanks to his handiwork.
The colour and the markings still visible on the glass suggest that this may have been an item dating from 1920s-30s when this colour glass was quite fashionable for decorative pieces within the home.

Full description

A very unusual pale green chunky piece of seaglass is top drilled and attached by a hand crafted mount, which includes 2 Sterling silver sparkly beads, to a 22in Sterling silver chain. The seaglass is roughly triangular in shape with 2cm sides and varies in thickness with approx 1.3cm at its thickest. Some chips in the surface of the seaglass allow the inside of the glass to be seen. Markings from the item that this seaglass has come from can also be seen. Photos taken from each side of the piece are shown to give an idea of its thickness.

This will be sent out using large letter Royal Mail Tracked 24.
