A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(64) This original painting is called, 'Steep Cliffs & Rugged Hearts'. It takes some nerve to walk a coastal path on a breezy day. I like to look over the edge but only when I've got someone holding on to me. This would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
This coastal landscape is ready to hang. Thick clouds hang heavy in the sky over choppy seas. White waves break against the cliffs and rocks. I've used quick brush strokes to apply thick layers of heavy body acrylic paint to depict the lapping of the waves. Layering the paint helps to provide contrast between light and shadow across the scene. As each layer of paint dries, I have cut into it with a range of mark making tools such has small twigs and nails to create texture. The key features of this painting are:
