A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(81) This original landscape painting is called, 'You'll Never Believe The Sights I've Seen.' It's based on memories of going out for a walk, you don't really know where you are going. You won't let anything hold you back...and you have a fine time. This would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
This framed Scottish landscape has been painted in acrylics. We can see a mountain range in the distance, set against a blue sky. In the middle ground there is a wild area of tall grassland. The fence symbolises 'Keep Out' but it's not going to keep us out today. The tree is bare and drapes over the scene, directing us forward. I have used small, flat brushes to apply acrylic paint to the sky, hill and loch areas. The foreground has been painted using a combination of sticks, knives and sponges.
You can welcome this timeless artwork in to any space. Allow yourself to connect with nature and reignite positive emotions connected with being in the great outdoors.
