You can’t beat a fabulously simple slouch bag and when I saw this gorgeous, burnt orange leather, I knew it must be a marriage made in heaven! I hand crafted this bag using the ‘Estrella’ bag by Oro Rosa.
Using rescued leather that would otherwise end up in landfill, to make all the bags in my Folksy shop is a decision that I’m a little bit proud of, It allows me to create sustainable and eco-friendly products that give new life to discarded materials. Each bag made from rescued leather showcases the beauty and character of this Upcycled material.
I believe that by repurposing leather in this way, I am not only reducing waste but also making a positive impact on the environment. The bags I make are not just stylish and elegant, but they also serve as a reminder of the importance of conscious consumerism. In buying them, you’re helping that legacy (and you’re getting a long lasting, beautifully made, one-of-a-kind bag) and doing your part against fast fashion.
