Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! My shop is currently closed while I move house. I plan to be open again by the end of July (WiFi willing!) and will be reading messages throughout, except the week of 15th July. In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation If a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

Full description
I've made the purse with an Autumnal Liberty Tana Lawn print called 'Donna Leigh' inspired by a design by William Kilburn dating from the late 1700s. During this period Kilburn produced many designs for muslin, often with dark, rich grounds and contrasting flowers – this print reflects his signature aesthetic, with its hand-painted watercolour flowers on a dark ground.
The purse outer is interfaced with woven cotton for strength and I've added some soft fleece to give a puffy effect that feels nice in your hand. The inside of the purse is lined with a bright azure blue coloured cotton - hard wearing enough to stand up to those coins jiggling about but still beautifully soft.
The engraved metal frame of the purse is an antique bronze colour and I've hand stitched it into place using a perle cotton to co-ordinate with the blue lining and the blue in the print.
The purse measures 8cm (3.25 inches) across at the mid part of the frame and 12cm (4.75 inches) at the widest point, at the bottom, where I've boxed off the corners to give a little depth to the purse of 3cm (1.25 inch). It stands 9cm (3.5 inches) tall.
