Potters hate waste and try to reclaim as much clay as possible. The mix of various stoneware clays and various scraps and fragments from the studio gives an interestingly varied and quite coarse feel to this planter, somehow appropriate to its intended use. Where the clay shows through it gives a lovely burnt sand vibe.

Full description
Hand-thrown pottery planter and water tray in rich blues, turquoise and sand colours, evocative of the sea. The pot measures 17cm circumference and 11cm high and the tray 18cm. Glazed stoneware so ok for the garden as well as indoors, although I wouldn’t leave it out over winter.
The last picture with a plant isn’t actually the item for sale, but gives an idea how it will look in action.
