I made this blanket with yarn from pre-loved great quality blankets, laundered and unpicked, then hand rolled into ready to use balls of yarn. I chose the colours with a pretty baby blanket in mind, & then designed the pattern for the squares. There are 80 squares in total! The pink yarn is variegated, & I particularly love the way the little flower motifs have turned out in varying shades of pink. The white yarn is a warm white, almost pale cream, & I think the overall effect is soft & delicate.
