My home is filled with items made from upcycled materials including furniture, home accessories and clothing. I love to craft sustainably, and really enjoy working on projects using pre-loved yarn and unwanted yarn scraps. I begin the process by making up several large balls of yarn from the materials I have to hand, and crochet the basket with five strands of different colour and thickness. For this basket I thought a mix of pink and purple would be pretty. I never know how the mix of colours will look until it starts to come together, so the end result is a unique basket with multiple uses!
