Full description
A handmade oxidised silver bead pendant is strung on small matte hematite beads, and has larger carnelian beads off to one side.
The hand made rondelle bead pendant has rows of silver rings fused to the front, it has been oxidised dark in the recesses.
The carnelian beads echo the size and shape of the pattern, the hematite beads echo the colour of the oxidised silver.
I have strung the focal bead centrally, but the carnelian beads add an asymmetric detail.
The necklace closes with a handmade hook clasp and extender chain, allowing the necklace to be worn between 17” and approx 18 3/4” 43cm - 48cm depending on preference or garment neckline.
The focal bead measure 2cm diameter. The hematite beads are about 2mm, the carnelian beads are 4mm.
The silver parts have been oxidised and burnished to a subtle shine.
