Full description
This jellyfish came about from a tea cup I’d recently made. Suggested by my son. Just a bit of tweaking needed and this is what I ended up with.
This suncatcher is great fun and it would be really good if you were able to hang it from a ceiling hook or even the window catch just so as it has room to move slightly.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand so every jelly fish will be slightly different.
I have added a twisted wire boarder so decoration and added strength, solder dots have also been added to make the piece interesting.
The glass used for this jellyfish an orange streaky textured glass and an iridescent yellow opaque sea glass. I have added 4 lengths of tinned copper wire with yellow and orange faceted glass beads for the tentacles.
The jellyfish measures 12.5cms wide by 17cms high excluding the wire tentacles.
I will supply a window hook so you can hang as soon as received but please wet before pushing firmly onto the window. It would really be ideal if it could be slightly away from the window.
I normally post the following working day and thus will be sent using 1st class signed for mail.
