Inspired by my love of books, vintage clothing and Regency dancing, my creations are often one off pieces, sewn, crocheted or crafted with paper or clay and filled with imagination (and sometimes lavender!)
A longing to recreate the elegance and delight of cravats and bow ties. finding fabrics with a more contemporary or alternative look was almost as much fun as the creating itself. I tried to use fabrics that I myself would wear, thinking that if no-one bought them at least I could use them!

Show your alternative style with this great, tartan poly-cotton cravat/tie. Wear it casually, loosely tied, or use a pin to fasten.
It can be used as a hair band too, just pop the band part under your hair at the back, and tie a double knot at the top, tuck the ‘bow’ parts under slightly or leave out for an extravagant retro rockabilly look!
Dimensions; 85 cm long, cravat point 15 cm wide, 5cm wide band.
Can be washed at 40 and tumble dried, though to prolong the life of the fabric, I recommend hand washing/delicate machine wash, air drying and cool ironing. Fabric; polyester cotton.
This is a fun, multi-use accessory.
