After hiking to the summit of Benn Nevis, we were so happy to have made it but also very tired and needed a break before we headed back down.
This Snow Bunting in full summer plumage befriended us, flying up very close and following us. He took his place on the rock and just looked out over his territory. I had to get a picture of him.
