Inspired by my love of books, vintage clothing and dancing, my creations are often one off pieces, sewn, crocheted or crafted with paper or clay and filled with imagination (and sometimes lavender!)
I try to post within 24hrs whenever possible although it says within 3days in the description. (Postage is included in the cost of the item.)
I love the retro elegance of cravats, bow ties and ascots and so wanted to recreate them but using fabrics that were more modern or alternative. The flowers and butterflies, and tiny leaf sprigs on a vintage scarf I'd had in my stash for a long time seemed perfect to create something elegant and almost timeless. These can be worn in various ways and can elevate an outfit to something special!

Full description
This lovely cravat began life as a vintage, silky fabric scarf.
The purple has a lovely sheen, and sprigs and dots in the pattern blend beautifully with the floral and butterfly motif. This would look elegant with a collared shirt or peeking over the top of a cardigan.
It can be worn loosely tied, or fastened more formally with a pin, alternatively, use as a stylish hair tie.
Dimensions; 85 cm long, cravat point 15 cm wide, 5cm wide band.
Wash on 30, preferably hand wash, air dry and iron as silk so that you don’t melt it.
