Christmas orders - most of my items are ready made and can be sent within 24 hours (please check each listing for dispatch times).
Orders placed up to Friday 20th December will be sent Saturday using Track 24, which aim to deliver to most UK mainland addresses the day after posting. I also offer optional Special Delivery in my upgrade listings section.
Orders placed over the weekend (21st and 22nd December) will already be upgraded, and posted on Monday using Special Delivery.

Zero waste - although I try hard to cut my fabric for my larger makes economically, I still have little offcuts. With my scrap basket overflowing, I wanted to put some of these to good use.

Full description
With it's vintage "Grandad Cardigan" button, my little patchwork oak tree leaf decoration would be a lovely stocking filler for Dad. Or maybe use as a memory gift to remember a loved one, or give to a child going away from home.
Each oak leaf is slightly different, making this a one of a kind gift.
Presented on a simple craft card and sent in a sturdy letterbox size cardboard box to protect the button, I can post directly on your behalf with a little note from you.
I created the fabric using a foundation piecing technique, using some small scraps in lovely soft greens and quilted it to a spring green on the reverse. I hand-cut the oak leaves and machine stitched with a variegated thread to resemble leaf veins, before adding a vintage leather button to represent an acorn, and a red faux suede cord for hanging.
You can display the leaf either way.
NOTE The leather button is up-cycled from my button box collection, and can be swopped out for a wooden or plastic one if you prefer - just add a note when ordering.
Approx size 4 inches for the leaf, with the cord it is 7 inches.
