Make your handmade jewellery stand out from the crowd with these pretty hand forged ball end sterling silver head pins! The price is for a set of 2 (one pair) head pins.
The head pins are individually handcrafted using 100% recycled 925 sterling silver wire, so they're eco friendly too! Each one is heated at one end with a hand torch, causing the silver to melt into a ball shape and the ball ends are then hammered flat into a little disc shape.
The head pins are then placed in a pickle solution to remove any fire scale and then tumbled in a barrel polisher for optimum strength and shine.
The head pins are sold in sets of 2 in a choice of wire gauges and pin lengths to suit your project needs.
DETAILS:-
- Handmade to order and ready to ship in 1 to 3 working days.
- Choice of wire gauges: 0.6mm (22 gauge) or 0.8mm (20 gauge).
- Choice of lengths:- 1 inch (25mm), 2 inches (50mm), 3 inches (75mm) or 4 inches (100mm).
- Flattened tip is approximately 3mm wide depending on the gauge selected.
- Tumble polished for strength and shine.
- Flat rate postage – additional items will ship at no extra cost.
Please note that due to the handcrafted nature of these head pins, there will be slight variations between each pin.
Sterling silver is prone to tarnish and this is a natural occurrence. The shine can be easily restored with a jewellery polishing cloth.
